We had a fantastic turn out at our Blood Drive hosted on Saturday, 6 April 2019. The Blood Drive was held in conjunction with our Discovery Vitality Wellness event. Donors came from our Local Northriding community, the Jackal Creek Golf Estate, Jackal Creek Gym and our In-Reach Night series runners.
We would like to extend a big Thank You to each and every HERO that supported our event. Your bravery is saving lives.
With 19 successful blood units collected at this Blood Drive, our aim is to reach collect 250 units in 2019.
South Africa Blood Services currently only has blood stock for the next 5 days, so we believe we can make a massive impact over time. Each unit of blood can save up to 3 lives.
Combining the local community of Northriding, Roodepoort, our Jackal Creek Gym members, and all our In-Reach Night runners we will be able to have one of the biggest blood drives in the country by 2020.
With that in mind, we have scheduled three more Blood Drive event at Jackal Creek Golf Estate:.
